General information about passenger flights
Only pilots with an appropriate training and license are allowed to carry a passenger with the paraglider. Tandem flights require a special paragliding equipment.
The take off is simple: at the command of the pilot, you start walking and then running, and after a few steps the wing gently lifts you up! It is possible to take photos during the flight, and for those who like action, the pilot can perform on request some exciting maneuvers. The landing is smooth and gentle. It requires you to make only a few steps.
Requirements for passengers
You do not need any prior paragliding knowledge in order to fly as a passenger. After the preparation for the start, the pilot will explain everything you need to know.
Children and teenagers under 16 years of age need the consent of parents or a legal guardian. For passengers weighing under 30 kg or over 100 kg, please contact us personally to clarify whether a flight is possible as this implies certain conditions. Ideally you reserve your desired date about two weeks in advance. Although we can usually take short-term reservations, the sooner you inform us of your flight date, the better.
Equipment
You need good shoes, ideally hiking boots, a windproof jacket and maybe gloves and sunglasses for the flight according to weather and temperature. If you don’t have these items, no need to worry. We provide you shoes and wind stopper jackets for free. The pilot brings a helmet for youIf you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Weather
Paragliding is weather-dependent. That is the reason why we determine the meeting time and meeting point the day before the flight.!
Please be on time to the agreed meeting point! The cable cars and trains do not wait for us.
